The Monte Fair is back, on the 30th, 31st of August and 1st of September, to Santiago do Cacém with the traditional free fair, entertainment and tourism activities, handicrafts, gastronomy, without forgetting the snacks and entertainment for all ages.

The musical shows are one of the highlights of the event that this year brings Syro, Plutónio, DAMA, among many others, to the stage. The Monte Fair is one of the oldest on the Alentejo coast – it dates back to the sixteenth century – and was held on the day of the festivities in honor of the patron saint, Nossa Senhora do Monte (September 8).
