Between the 30th of August and the 1st of September, Estremoz hosts the Estremoz City Festivities.

With free admission, in addition to the usual religious ceremonies – such as processions. masses or baptisms – there will be several fireworks shows, street entertainment and lots of music, with several local bands showing what they are worth! The headliners are some very popular names in the Portuguese music scene, such as Micaela, Buba Espinho or Raiz.
