The Festivities in honor of Santa Bárbara, in the city of Miranda do Douro, will once again animate this locality during the 16th to 18th of August.

Every year the patron saint is honored with several days of devotions, masses, rituals and lots of entertainment. This year, the program includes a lot of street entertainment, a "Youth Party - Pool Party" and a Mass in Honor of Santa Bárbara. The musical poster features several nationally renowned musicians, among other musicians and bands, with emphasis on Nininho Vaz Maia, Carlão and Teresinha Landeiro.
