The Algures a Nordeste Festival is a Contemporary Dance Festival that takes place throughout the month of September, with productions by the companies Olga Roriz, Paulo Ribeiro, Quorum Ballet and Intranzyt.

Also noteworthy is a show for children: "A Grande Viagem do Pequeno Mi", a creation by Madalena Victorino with Ana Raquel and Beatriz Marques Dias, taking place on the first day of the festival, on September 14th.
