In the year that marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Johann Strauss II, the excellence and virtuosity of the Vienna Johann Strauss Orchestra arrives at the MEO Arena in Lisbon.

For the first time in Portugal, this orchestra, conducted by Austrian Maestro Alfred Eschwé, is composed of 55 musicians, who use the same instruments and formation that enchanted the halls of the European nobility almost two centuries ago and that continue to enchant audiences around the world. The most recognized and beloved works of the Austrian composer are brought by the orchestra that is heir to the Strauss Dynasty – a family guided by music, originality and lightness.
