MAAT, in Lisbon, hosts the exhibition of Catarina Dias, who has developed her work in drawing and painting and in their plastic and conceptual derivations.

On display until March 17, 2025, this exhibition continues a work around the issue of the enigma of visibility: the mystery of images and words, their transparencies and dissimilarities, analogies and metamorphoses, mirrors and ghosts that give them existence. Through the incorporation of poetic words and verses on images that come from a fragmentation and juxtaposition that are core to the artist's visual universe, Catarina Dias proposes a confrontation between the apparent and the imperceptible, the legible and the indecipherable, in an appeal to the attention of the viewer's gaze, revealing fields and dimensions that he is not trained to notice.
