Running until December, the Cistermúsica Fronteiras Cycle once again highlights contemporary classical music, also creating bridges with other genres such as jazz, folk and pop. With music by composers from various eras, such as Rameau, Schubert, Debussy and Stravinsky, it takes place in various spaces in Alcobaça.

On October 12, at 9 pm, at Armazém das Artes, the musician from Alcobaça Churky takes the stage to show his new EP "A peça que faltava", in acoustic format.

On October 19, at 6:00 pm, and in the same place, it is the turn of the pianist and composer Carlos Filipe Cruz, with an approach to the music of Coimbra and the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the 25th of April, in his new show "Lembrança do que está só — Coimbra e a Liberdade".

On October 20, the Vision String Quartet performs in the Library Hall of the Montebelo Mosteiro de Alcobaça Historic Hotel, at 6 pm, in a concert that goes "From Classical to Pop-Rock.

On October 26th, the Sonas Quartet project, a talented group of young and emerging musicians from Europe, performs at the Barn of the Monastery of Alcobaça, at 6 pm, bringing works by N. Paganini, I. Stravinsky and R. Schumann.

The agenda in November begins on the 2nd, with a "Tribute to George Gershwin" by the Portuguese Symphonic Band, at the Cine-Teatro de Alcobaça, at 6 pm.

On November 24, it is the turn of the tribute concert to Ryuichi Sakamoto, one of the most acclaimed international composers, to take place at the Celeiro of the Monastery of Alcobaça, at 6 pm, with a selection of works from the historic album "1996".

On November 30th, the Alcobaça Wine Museum welcomes the voice and piano duo, Rita Maria & Filipe Raposo, with the work "The Art of Song vol. 2 — Between Sacred and Profane".

Finally, on December 7th, the Alcobaça Symphonic Band closes Fronteiras at the Cine-Teatro de Alcobaça, at 6 pm.
