175 years of Azulejo at Viúva Lamego: A perspective of the present, a vision of the future

In the year in which the 175th anniversary of Viúva Lamego's ceramic production is celebrated, the National Tile Museum presents the exhibition "175 years of Azulejo in Viúva Lamego: A perspective of the present, a vision of the future", on display until December 29th.
With 17 pieces, including unpublished works created especially for this occasion, the exhibition reflects on the present and the future, in a dialogue between established artists and new talents. Since its foundation in 1849, Viúva Lamego has played a central role in the history of national tiles. Today, it continues to honor this legacy in collaboration with artists, architects, designers and artisans, reinventing a unique heritage of Portuguese culture.
