"Haydn for a day" is a very special concert by the Metropolitan Orchestra of Lisbon, with the real-time projection of drawings by the hand of António Jorge Gonçalves.

The program begins at dawn and ends in an intense storm, after evening dusk. These are three symphonies with which Haydn wanted to get to know better the musicians of Eszterházy's orchestra of the princes, whose direction he had taken over a short time earlier, in 1761. Haydn composed in a way that everyone could shine, which is why some moments feel like solo concerts.
