The exhibition Hestnes Ferreira – Form | Feature | Luz, organized by the Marques da Silva Institute Foundation, presents a reading of the work of architect Raúl Hestnes Ferreira (1931–2018), based on his work process, dominated by charcoal drawing and architectural experimentation.
Curated by Alexandra Saraiva, Patrícia Bento d'Almeida and Paulo Tormenta Pinto, this exhibition focuses on the work of Hestnes Ferreira, whose architecture achieves a sublime timelessness, whether through formal simplicity or through the expression of matter, with space being the aggregating element and construction the foundation that gives it weight and proportion.
