Events

The biggest fado event in Madeira is back in Funchal between the 16th and 19th of January 2025. The Baltazar Dias Municipal Theatre, the Largo do Corpo Santo and the Artistic Creation Studio – in Funchal (Madeira Island) – will be the stage for Fado Funchal, a meeting dedicated to the most Portuguese musical expression and a true mark of Portugal.

The program includes a show, five concerts, an exhibition and a conversation, promoted by the Funchal City Council in partnership with the Madeira Fado Association. The event is for people over 6 years old.
