On display until April, in various spaces of the Serralves Museum, the exhibition Herbarium Seen & Dreamed aims to explore how scientists, philosophers, writers, artists and filmmakers have collected or represented plants, either for scientific studies or for their enjoyment, creating herbaria that vary between the scientific and the poetic. Through a multidisciplinary approach, we will be able to see the exploratory work of several botanists and artists.

From cyanotypes to installations, through drawings and photographs, in a journey through centuries of approach to botany and biodiversity.
