The exhibition "Manoel de Oliveira Photographer", on display at the Trem Municipal Gallery - Manuel Baptista, in Faro, is organized by Casa do Cinema Manoel de Oliveira – Serralves Foundation.

This interesting exhibition presents more than a hundred Manoel de Oliveira photographs, produced between the late 1930s and mid-1950s, which reveal an unknown facet of the filmmaker, allowing us to see new perspectives on the evolution of his cinematographic work. These images, which were kept for decades, are one of the great surprises that the director's personal archive, entirely deposited in Serralves, stored.
