Events

Between the 7th of December and the 7th of January, Sabugal once again lives the Christmas spirit with the Sabugal Nativity Scene, a magical event, coated with a unique symbolism and enriched with different concepts that aim to cheer up visitors of all ages.

The program includes a set of activities for the whole family, illuminations and decorations alluding to the season, thematic exhibitions, unique traditions, markets, among other initiatives.

The entertainment extends throughout New Year's Eve, with festivities and fireworks shows in the five medieval villages: Alfaiates, Sabugal, Sortelha, Vila do Touro and Vilar Maior.
