The Carmina Contemporary Art Gallery, in Angra do Heroísmo, hosts the painting exhibition entitled Women, by Sonia Ormonde, until January 18, 2025. Here the central theme is the face and body of the woman, whether it is a portrait or an anonymous figuration. The bright and vibrant colors are reminiscent of pop art with expressionist touches.

Through drawing and color, the painter reveals various types of beauty and their particularities. Using canvas, acrylic, palette knife and brushes, he imprints dynamics to his paintings, framed in cinematographic effects and shots.
