Scheduled for March 2025, the second edition of BIALE – Alentejo International Biennial will be spread between three poles: the Parque de Feira de Estremoz, the Centro de Ciência Viva de Estremoz and the Museu Berardo Estremo.

The central theme of the event will be Art, Environment and Rurality, seeking to explore areas such as sustainability, local culture and environmental education. One of the main objectives of this event is to attract national and international contemporary art to the Alentejo, presenting a diversity of models and techniques of expression, in a versatile dynamic of visual discourses. The aspects focused on Rurality will focus on the genesis of the heritage that the people of the Alentejo region have transferred from generation to generation, until our times.
