Calexico returns to the road in 2025, this time with founding members – Joey Burns and John John Convertino – and longtime collaborator and trumpeter Martin Wenk.

The band drew attention in the mid-90s, with the convergence of influences that mixed in their music, cataloged as "cross-cultural indie rock". The great success came with "Feast of Wire", a 2003 album, which earned them several recognitions from the public and critics. Chameleonic by nature, in addition to the albums released, the band has worked with a number of artists, from Willie Nelson and Jim James to Nancy Sinatra and Neko Case, produced and acted on Amos Lee's No. 1 album, Mission Bell, and has been featured in several films.
