The exhibition "Woman of the Chestnuts", which portrays the figure of Estremoz, will be on display at the Interpretive Center for the Valorization and Safeguarding of the Estremoz Puppet until the 23rd of February.

This exhibition arises from the challenge launched to the Barristas, currently producing figurines from Estremoz, to create the figure of the Woman roasting chestnuts, one of the traditional pieces of the basic core of the Figurado de Estremoz. The exhibition has the participation of Barristas Afonso and Matilde Ginja, Ana Catarina Grilo, Ana Godinho, Fátima Estróia, Inocência Lopes, Irmãs Flores, Isabel Pires, Jorge da Conceição, José Carlos Rodrigues, Luís Parente, Luísa Batalha, Madalena Bilro, Manuel Broa, Ricardo Fonseca, Sandra Cavaco and Vera Magalhães.
