The Catalan duo, Tarta Relena, presents their third and most recent album, "És pregunta". The project was born in 2016 by the hand of soprano Helena Ros and contralto Marta Torrella, two different timbres, which together embrace each other in a polyphony of graceful and dissonant tones. For them, the starting point is the Mediterranean songbook, exploring the sacred and the profane, with a unique complexity and subtleties.

Far from the Saxon language, Helena and Marta write these little treasures in Greek, Italian, Ladina, Sephardic, Catalan and Castilian, decentralizing the music of this era, and keeping alive the mystery of the tune, the tragic thought and the voices that have always inhabited the Mediterranean Sea.
