The Galeria Julio | Centro de Memória de Vila do Conde presents a new proposal that is part of the program conceived by Juan Luis Toboso, with the collaboration of Cristina Grande, "Optic palpitations / 3 muscle spasms", which aims to question the way to approach the research and creation of Julio's legacy, from a performative perspective, in its various dimensions and languages.

To this end, three artists were invited – Sónia Baptista, Carla Cruz and Gaya de Medeiros – crossed in their practice by performance art, to study and create an intense dialogue transversal to a certain group of works from the Galeria Julio collection.
