With a career spanning more than 40 years, Bill Frisell has turned his music and biography into an extensive list of accolades and awards, leaving the weight of his importance in contemporary jazz to history. But some of the praise stems from his notoriety in terrains adjacent to jazz, and his elegant compositions. His qualities helped him to redefine a very unique version of American identity music, passing through jazz and matrix folk to create a language of his own.

Recently, as part of the prestigious Blue Note, he gave free rein to his creativity, resulting in new dialogues and trainings. This trio of his with Thomas Morgan and Rudy Royston is one of his most recent projects.
