The Mirandese Flavors – Gastronomy and Handicrafts Festival takes place in the city of Miranda do Douro, a region known for its rich culture, gastronomy and handicrafts. This festival aims to celebrate and promote the local cuisine, traditions and handicrafts of the region, taking place this year between the 14th and 16th of February.

In what is already a reference event in the region, visitors can taste typical dishes of Mirandese cuisine, from sweets to products and meats of indigenous breeds (Mirandesa Veal, Mirandesa Galician Churra Lamb, pork and its derivatives). In addition to gastronomy, the festival is also a celebration of traditional craftsmanship, with local artisans exhibiting and selling their wares.
