The Coliseu begins its opera season with this comic opera by Johann Strauss, set on New Year's Eve. A show full of disguises, misunderstandings and humorous revenge, which promises an unmissable, joyful and vibrant experience.

The score celebrates the music that made the heart of the Austrian capital beat with waltzes and melodies that still enchant us today. The Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra and a talented cast of soloists thus celebrate the genius of Strauss, who captured like no one else the effervescence of nineteenth-century imperial Vienna.
