The typical Lemon Festival, also known as the Regional Lemon Exhibition, which takes place every year in the parish of Ilha, in Santana, Madeira, takes place this year between the 5th and 6th of April.

In this exhibition, local producers exhibit and sell sweets and other delicacies made with lemon. The parish of Ilha is responsible for the production of about 90 tons of lemon per year, which represents about 25% of the production of the entire island. You can also count on a diversified program of musical and cultural entertainment.
