With a 40-year career, Flak's career is of great relevance in the history of Portuguese music.

He was co-founder of Rádio Macau, with which he released eight albums and wrote timeless songs such as "Amanhã é Sempre Longe Demais", "Anzol" and "Elevador da Glória". He was a member of Palma's Gang, Micro Audio Waves and was the producer of dozens of albums by artists such as Entre Aspas, GNR and Rádio Macau, highlighting Jorge Palma's double platinum "Voo Nocturno". His solo career began in 1998 with the acclaimed album of the same name and, in 2018, he summoned Benjamin to produce "Cidade Fantástica", considered one of the best national albums. In 2022 he released "Magpie", signed the soundtrack of the film Casa Flutuante and released the single "A Liberdade é Cara".
