The centenary of Carlos Paredes' birth sets the tone for the first edition of the Portuguese Guitar Festival. Bringing together dozens of musicians from different generations and crossing different approaches to the Portuguese guitar, this festival celebrates the modern, timeless and universal legacy of Carlos Paredes.

A program of concerts, lectures and documentaries brings together, for two days, at the Capitólio, Teatro Variedades and Cinema São Jorge, musicians from different generations and different musical areas, united in the celebration of the Portuguese guitar, its composers and instrumentalists and one of its most notable representatives: Carlos Paredes.
