The Douro Knowledge and Flavors Festival is back in São João da Pesqueira on three weekends: February 22nd and 23rd, March 1st and 2nd, and March 8th and 9th.
Organized by the Municipality of São João da Pesqueira, this event promotes the best that is done in this beautiful region. In the various traditional taverns you can taste various regional dishes, not forgetting the delicious smoked meat. The party also features the sale of handicrafts and varied entertainment.
