It was born in the popular alleys of Lisbon and is a national symbol and Cultural and Intangible Heritage of Humanity (Unesco, 2011). More than a musical genre, it is an experience of the senses, a journey through the history, arts and gastronomy of Portugal. It has a special flavour, a unique glamour, its own atmosphere.

This show offers the best that the city has to offer: a visit to the theatre, a national monument and considered one of the most beautiful buildings in cultural Lisbon, the most appropriate setting for this genuinely experience where fado singers and musicians will lead you through the essence of being Portuguese enjoying Fado as a whole, cheerfully accompanied by a glass of Port Wine and a pastel de nata. Tasting Fado takes place on the 7th, 14th, 21st and 38th of February.
