The Estarreja Carnival is one of the largest and oldest carnival parades in Portugal and for several days the city is transformed into a living gallery, breathing revelry, color and joy!

The program is extensive and includes all ages. From workshops and activities for children and babies, to comedy shows and concerts with some of the most popular and lively Portuguese bands today, which this year includes Os Marotos da Concertina, Santamaria or ABBA MIA (ABBA tribute concert). Another of the highlights of this party is the Grande Corso, which includes the parade of 4 samba schools, 8 revelry groups, 1 catwalk group, 17 parede cars and more than 1300 extras.
