Curated by the exhibition project "A Certain Lack of Coherence", Territory #7 brings to Culturgest Porto unpublished works by Babi Badalov, Jac Leirner and Stephan Dillemuth.
The exhibition project "A Certain Lack of Coherence" was founded in Porto in 2008 by the artists André Sousa and Mauro Cerqueira. It occupies a vacant building on Rua dos Caldeireiros, in the historic centre of Porto, and challenges Portuguese and foreign artists to occupy the narrow and degraded rooms with unpublished works. The project has no commercial purposes, no funding and legal status, having as its starting point the exercise of survival in adverse conditions and subject to institutional oppression.
