The São Marcos Fair in Alter do Chão is back in Alentejo between the 23rd and 27th of April 2025. Here the horse is the star of the party, with demonstrations, contests, rides and other demonstrations linked to the equestrian world. However, in an appreciation of customs and traditions, handicrafts, regional products, agriculture and culture are once again in the spotlight. As usual, musical entertainment is another of the attractions of the event and every year it brings big names in music in Portugal, attracting thousands of people who have a passion for horses, as well as curious people who come looking for entertainment.
