On March 30, Teatro Micaelense receives, for the 2025 Spring Concert, the São José Choir and Arquipélago Cromático, who chose one of the most emblematic works by the Portuguese composer João Domingos Bomtempo: Requiem, Op. 23 "À Memória de Camões", a work for orchestra, choir and four solo singers. This work displays a wide variety of vocal and instrumental textures, transparent orchestration, and a type of choral writing that, without rejecting contrapuntal artifice, provides an optimal intelligibility of the liturgical text.

The program also aims to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the birth of Luís Vaz de Camões, national poet and major figure in Lusophone literature.
