The title of Mounira Al Solh's exhibition, "Y'a Hamam Yalla Ma Tnam, Ma Tnam" ("Oh Pigeon, Don't Sleep, Don't Sleep"), expresses the opposite of the verse of a lullaby that is very popular in Lebanon and Syria.

Mounira Al Solh was born in Beirut in 1978 and currently lives between Beirut and Amsterdam. This show creates a singular narrative that explores Mounira Al Solh's deep engagement with personal subjectivity and political agency. It is organized by the Serralves Foundation — Museum of Contemporary Art and curated by João Mourão and Luís Silva, and has free admission.
