Events

This festival maintain centuries-old traditions linked to rivers and maritime work, they are a meeting point for thousands of people from all over the Tagus Valley and other regions of the country.

With a vast musical program, the National Handicraft Exhibition, the Sweet Flavors Exhibition, the Municipality Flavors and Knowledge Exhibition, the Folklore Afternoon, the exhibitions, the flowery streets and the taverns with typical gastronomy constitute, among other moments, the rich variety of activities that make up the event. The highlight of the festivities will take place on the Day of the Municipality, Monday of Boa Viagem, with religious ceremonies, of which the mass, the procession in honor of Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem and the Blessings of the Boats on the Tagus and Zêzere rivers and the vehicles in Praça Alexandre Herculano stand out.
