Jinte Deprez is best known for, along with Maarten Devoldere, being the creative duo and vocalists of the group Balthazar. At the same time, and like his stage colleague from Balthazar, he has a project in his own name (J. Bernardt) with a debut album, "Running Days" (2017), in which he mixes R&B and soul sounds, with an electronic cover. His most recent album, "Contigo" (2024), is involved in a dramatic tone full of exuberant melodies, where he explores all the phases of a love breakup, in a desperately romantic album.
