Between May 30 and June 1, 2025, Albergaria-a-Velha will host the Bread Festival at Quinta da Boa Vista/Torreão, in the city center, celebrating this ancestral activity with strong roots in the region.

It brings together dozens of producers of Portugal's most characteristic bakery, as well as its sweet variants and the most varied complements that accompany them, such as jams, cheeses, sausages, wines, among others. The festival also features exhibitions, showcooking presentations with renowned chefs such as Chef Hélio Loureiro, as well as workshops, lectures, musical shows, film screenings, the International Bread Film Festival, the Rota dos Moinhos Trail, among other activities.
