This is an immersive journey into LAIKA Studios' stop-motion animation cinematography, where art and science intersect to challenge the boundaries of animation cinema. It is also a tribute to the multiplicity of hands that come together and work to create the 150,000 frames that make up each of LAIKA's multi-award-winning films. In this exhibition, each film is represented by a single frame, specially chosen to illustrate the various steps in the production of a stop motion feature film, also giving a glimpse of the backstage and all the creative and collaborative effort necessary to bring these works of art to life.
