Tigran Hamasyan arrives in Portugal with the show "The Bird of a Thousand Voices". Born in Armenia, the artist fuses his powerful jazz improvisation with the rich traditional music of his homeland. Their fresh sound is characterized by the change of bars, charged dynamics and alternation of acoustic and electric sounds, from an affinity with heavy metal.

His solo album, "The Ancient Observer", a collection of written compositions, two of which are written in Armenian melodies, leaving some room for improvisation, reaffirms him as a free artist. In his passage through Portugal, he is accompanied by Areni Agbabian – on vocals, Yessaï Karapetian – on keyboards, Marc Karapetian – on bass and Matt Garstka – on drums.
