Events

The 20th edition of the Portalegre Jazzfest Festival is scheduled to take place between April 9 and 13, 2025.

Among the names on the program are Carlos Barreto, Carlos Bica, accordionist João Barradas, Spanish pianist Dorantes, Danish project Emmeluth's Amoeba Quartet, Slovenian bassist Gasper Livk, guitarist Bruno Pernadas, saxophonist José Soares, the trio of Danish saxophonist Mia Dyberg, American bassist Michael Formanek, the American duo of Chris Porter (alto saxophone) and Craig Taborn (piano), among many others.

There are also two jam sessions open to the public, wine and regional product tastings, as well as a record and book fair.
