For more than 500 years, the historic city of Évora - a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site - has been organizing the São João Fair, a popular festival celebrated in the Rossio de São Brás and bringing together thousands of visitors, between June 20 and 29, 2025, with the theme "25 de Abril - Movimento Associativo e Participação Popular".

Although in its origins it played a very important role in the development of the villages, today it is characterized by animation and entertainment. In addition to the traditional stalls and merry-go-rounds, there are handicrafts and Alentejo cuisine, among many other activities that will delight the local population and visitors during 10 days of festivities.
