She is one of the voices of fado in Portugal, with two albums acclaimed by the public, praised by critics and awarded by the industry, nominated for a Latin Grammy and gathered around her some of the best lyricists and composers of today and affirmed fado as her home.

Her third album is called "Liberdade", with a strong Portugueseness, has different arrangements and more eclectic, free sounds, without stereotypes. On stage, together with her band, Diogo Clemente (fado guitar and artistic direction), Ângelo Freire (Portuguese guitar), Frederico Gato (acoustic bass) and Joel Silva (drums), Sara Correia presents a show influenced by various genres.
