Events

The São Bento Festivities, in Santo Tirso, the biggest festivities in the county, this year take place between the 6th and 13th of July. With a secular tradition, they are an important symbol of the socio-cultural activity of Santo Tirso.

There will be many entertainment areas, all over the central area, with children's entertainment, street commerce, handicraft sales and a restaurant area. The program includes concerts, fireworks and other shows for all audiences and ages. The objective is to promote local traditions, mobilize the population, the associative movement and commerce, interconnecting the sacred and the profane, always around the patron São Bento.
