Events

The Madalena Festivities are the biggest celebrations in the village of Madalena, on Pico Island in the Azores, and are very popular with both locals and tourists. With a musical lineup for all ages, the festivities also include a wine fair, performances by folk groups and philharmonic bands, and a night of marches.

This event focuses on local traditions and gastronomic diversity. This year's edition features the Classical Orchestra of the Madalena Artistic Training Center, a Folklore Festival, and a Philharmonic Festival.
