More than a Medieval Fair, this is a journey back in time – for four days the streets of Tomar return to live the life of other times, for four days, with their customs and traditions.

The Templar Festival is thus an annual event that translates into the historical reconstruction of medieval times, when the city was the spiritual headquarters of the Knights Templar. And it is these, the Templars, who are responsible for the construction and growth of what is now called the "Templar City", leaving marks such as the imposing Convent of Christ, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Seminars, camps, markets, competitions, among other activities, will evoke the legends, secrets and myths of the richest and most powerful medieval institution.
