Events

Set to take place in July, the Maranho Gastronomy Festival celebrates one of the region's most emblematic gastronomic products, maranho, a bag made from the stomachs of sheep and goats, with meat from these two species, which includes carolino rice and mint (but not only). This is a celebration of the best that the municipality has to offer in terms of culture, tourism and the economy.

The festival has a strong presence for four days, with a luxury musical line-up: Miguel Araújo, Pedro Abrunhosa, Nininho Vaz Maia, Camané, among many others, in a diversified program aimed at all age groups, which includes various spaces, activities and shows.
