After the release in October 2024 of the album called "Goldberg Variations" by J.S. Bach, the renowned pianist Pedro Burmester is continuing the live performances of this work in the Burmester Goldberg Cycle.
This is a new recording, following the first release in 1992. To present this work live, Pedro Burmester will give some concerts in churches and other emblematic places of Portuguese historical heritage: on May 24 and 25 at the Casa de Mateus Foundation in Vila Real, on June 28 at the Alcobaça Monastery, as part of the Cistermúsica - 33rd Alcobaça Music Festival, on October 18 at the Agostinhos Church in Vila Viçosa, and on January 30 at the Belém Cultural Center in Lisbon.
