The Luz Fair is returning to Largo da Luz in Carnide, a parish in Lisbon, between August 30 and September 28.
Linked to the traditional pilgrimage held every September at the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Luz, the Fair was a complement to the religious festivities, which lasted several days and attracted many visitors from the capital and surrounding areas. Since 1992, the Parish Council has joined in culturally with the festivities, which culminate in the Procession of Nossa Senhora da Luz. The musical line-up includes several well-known Portuguese artists.
