Braga pianists Joana Gama and Rui Braga Simões present Canto Ostinato (1979), an iconic work by Dutch composer Simeon ten Holt. A landmark of European minimalism, the piece allows for various combinations of keyboard instruments and offers the performers freedom in their choice of repetitions, accents and dynamics, creating an immersive and meditative musical experience.

Joana Gama, pianist and researcher, develops projects in the performing arts Rui Braga Simões), living in The Hague, specializes in contemporary music and holds a master's degree from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where she studied with Ellen Corver.
