You can't talk about the history of Portuguese music without mentioning an inescapable name: the band Ornatos Violeta. More than three decades after the band's birth, and even in the face of all the changes that are inseparable from the evolution of the world, what defines this mythical band from Porto is timelessness.

Originally from Porto, the band made up of Manel Cruz on vocals, Nuno Prata on bass, Peixe on guitar, Kinörm on drums and Elísio Donas on keyboards, has only two albums published, "Cão" and "O Monstro Precisa de Amigos", but Manel Cruz's poetry is still being sung today by new generations.
