Promoted by the Companhia Nacional de Bailado, the Great Masters program is part of a new cycle with the same name that aims to celebrate choreographers whose work has marked the history of dance, whether for its artistic relevance, choreographic impact or ability to renew the language and concepts of danced movement.

It brings together three emblematic works from different eras: "Four Reasons" by Edward Clug, premiered by CNB in 2008; "Sleight of Hand" by Paul Lightfoot & Sol León, who are now part of CNB's choreographers; and "Symphony in C" by George Balanchine, which is now part of CNB's repertoire.
